Drill press table

I had this old hand me down rockwell drill press that runs real smooth, the problem I had is the table for it is a fixed position table and no where near straight to the bit itself.  I made a new table that is a bit oversized but with removable leaves so when doing normal projects it won't be too cumbersome but also have the ability to do larger cabinet doors etc.

My rough drawing of where I'd like things to be, I ended up changing it a bit

Getting ready for some bondo, this allows me to make a perfect fitting piece that I can then use to make disposable duplicates after I drill through them over time

Routed out all the channels for my t-track

Here I have added the leaves and fence with small machined plastic stops I made

Then came the problem of raising and lowering the table itself. I basically used the router and some groved bearings and came up with the following
